Ann Farrell is the Reef Recovery Team’s resident coral husbandry expert. After working at Coconut Island in other labs for several years, she joined us in January of 2010. Ann’s constant attention to the health and well-being of our corals is invaluable to our research, as healthy animals are crucial to conducting quality experiments. Ann also assists with experiments, especially during coral spawning season, continually building her role in the lab. When not in the lab caring for our corals, Ann is an avid paddler for Kailua Canoe Club and loves taking her dog, Ola to the beach.
